Red Caves (Kizil-Koba) is the largest cave in the Crimea which actively visited even back in the nineteenth century. The total length is more than 13 mi! It is one of the largest caves in Europe.
There are several different tours offered there. Tourists for an hour can walk 1 650 feet, larger route should be pre-ordered.
Red caves uniqueness also lies in the fact that there remained a huge stalactite, whose age is about eight thousand years. There were also traces of a man who lived 2500 years ago. Cave exploration continues to this day.
