In the 1930s the Soviet Secret Service, in strict secrecy investigated in Crimea several anomal zones. After 10 years World War II broke out and the Germans occupied the Crimean peninsula. The Nazi secret society “Ahnenerbe SS” was also seriously engaged in occult researches in Crimea, which for them was no less important than Tibet. Both Soviets and Nazis had very good reasons for their interest.

If you look at the map of the Crimean peninsula or a photograph taken from space, the peninsula looks like a bird flying to the East. Cape Meganom is at the heart of this bird. Probably this is why the creator(s) of civilisation marked it with such a strong magnetic power.

There is evidence of the classic magnetic anomaly here. Cape Meganom is well known for its “rings”on the ground, a yellowish colour which can be seen even through the grass. These rings have a width of two feet, and occasionally, they begin to fade. Some witnesses tell, that at such time, even being close to the rings is not possible, as both animals and people begin to experience a terrible malaise.

Because of the orange circles on the ground this place got its second name of “Valley of Orange.” But locals say that orange circles appear only on an abandoned  military base on Meganom cape, as in 1960, it’s believed that nuclear experiments carried out under water caused the indignation of the powers.

In itself, this area is very warm and sunny, with clean but empty beaches. One of the bays is called Cape Gravernaya. It is a much loved destination for scuba divers. This cape attracts lovers of the underwater world because of  underwater military objects and the cemetery of anchors.
